Getting there and around

Annecy enjoys top-tier international access: Geneva airport (GVA), about 45 km or 30 minutes away, serves more than 100 destinations worldwide. Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is about 1 h 30 away, and the small Annecy Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc airport mainly handles business and private aviation. Annecy's TGV station connects directly to Paris in about 4 hours and to Lyon, and the A41 motorway puts Geneva, Chambéry and the Alpine network within easy reach. This crossroads position between Switzerland and the Alps is a major asset for regular international use.

The rhythm of the year

Unlike the ski resorts, Annecy lives and trades year round, making it a particularly fluid market. Spring (March to June) and the September-October return are the most active windows, with fine homes changing hands quickly. Summer (July-August) brings an intense tourism peak around the lake: viewings slow and logistics tighten, without halting transactions.
