Getting there and around

Arcachon benefits from a practical twin gateway: Bordeaux-Mérignac airport (BOD), about 1 h away, offering more than 80 destinations (London, Brussels, Munich, Canada), and a TGV station that terminates in town. From Paris, allow about 2 h by TGV to Bordeaux then 50 min by regional train to Arcachon, a total journey of roughly 3 h.
