The art of living in Avignon
Daily life revolves around the squares, covered markets such as Les Halles and a refined Provencal food scene. In summer, the festival turns the city into an open-air stage, boosting the atmosphere but also the crowds. The Rhone, its banks and the nearby Luberon and Alpilles open onto hiking, vineyards and hilltop villages just minutes away.

- Private events & receptions
A private dinner, a birthday, a reception at home: caterer, florist, household staff, your concierge orchestrates every detail.
- Bespoke experiences & requests
A getaway, a chauffeur, private shopping, a rare gift or an unexpected request: if it's possible, we make it happen. Tell us what you want, we take care of it.
- Another need
A request that fits no box? Tell us: we find the right person and coordinate. Whatever the need, we handle it.

Getting there and around
Avignon is among the best-connected Provence cities: the TGV station, set apart from the centre, puts Paris about 2 h 40 away and serves Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Geneva and Brussels. The seasonal Avignon-Provence airport adds capacity; otherwise Marseille Provence (MRS) is about 1 h away and links the main European capitals, the Gulf hubs and New York with one stop. A shuttle links the TGV station to the city-centre station. Within the walls, traffic and parking are constrained: your dedicated concierge can arrange transfers and scout access.
The rhythm of the year
The Avignon rhythm follows the July festival, which absorbs rental supply and pushes short-term buzz and pressure. For buying, spring (March-June) remains the most active window, and late season (October-November) a quieter period open to negotiation. Always view outside the festival to gauge the real noise and footfall of an intra-muros address. For a remote project, start in winter, target in spring and sign in autumn.
French Realty acts as a business introducer: it informs, guides and coordinates. Regulated property transactions are carried out by partners under their own responsibility.
