Getting there and around

Deauville has its own airport, Deauville-Normandy (DOL), about 10 min away, with seasonal flights to French regions and a few European links in summer. For long-haul, Paris-CDG and Orly are about 2 h 30 to 3 h away. By rail, the Trouville-Deauville station links Paris Saint-Lazare in about 2 h (the fastest option), with connections via Lisieux.

The rhythm of the year

The Deauville market sees two peaks: spring (April-June) and the September return, marked by the yearling sales at La Touques. The summer high season (July-August) slows viewings without easing pressure on supply.
